Jordan Intercepts Three Iranian Missiles
Amman, July 19 (QNA) - Jordan's military said on Sunday that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down three of four Iranian missiles targeting the Kingdom, while the fourth landed in a remote area in the country's south, away from populated areas.
In a statement, the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said the the incident caused no casualties or property damage. It added that Royal Engineering Corps teams had been deployed to secure sites where missile debris fell and clear the remnants.
The armed forces said they remain on high alert and maintain full operational readiness to respond to any threat. (QNA)
