2 Killed, 42 Injured in Russian Strike on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia City
Kyiv, July 20 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced Monday that at least two people were killed in a Russian airstrike targeting the city of Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported via Telegram that at least 42 others were injured, including eight children.
Ukrainian media outlets indicated that Russia targeted the city with guided bombs, damaging a five-story residential building. Reports stated that two floors of the building were completely destroyed.
These strikes come as Russia has intensified its attacks in recent days on a number of Ukrainian facilities, including ports, amid the ongoing military conflict between the two sides and the absence of any signs of an imminent political settlement. (QNA)
