Jordan Denies Reports of Evacuation Orders at Aqaba Air and Sea Ports
Amman, July 19 (QNA) - Jordanian authorities on Sunday denied reports that evacuation orders had been issued for the city of Aqaba's air and sea ports in southern Jordan.
Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani affirmed that relevant authorities had not issued any such orders, adding that both the air and sea ports were operating normally.
Momani added that any potential risks would be communicated by the competent Jordanian authorities in accordance with established procedures, including the immediate activation of warning sirens when necessary.
He also noted that relevant authorities had not detected any potential threats over the past several hours. (QNA)
