Manama, July 17 (QNA) - Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the repeated Iranian attacks that targeted civilian and vital facilities in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan with missiles and drones.

In a statement issued today, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks represent a dangerous escalation that threatens civilian safety as well as regional security and stability, and constitute a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.

The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain's full solidarity with the affected countries and expressed its support for their right to take all legitimate measures to defend their sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect their citizens and residents, in accordance with international law.

The Foreign Ministry also renewed its call for the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take firm and decisive action to compel Iran to halt its hostile acts and to ensure the security, safety, and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

It further stressed that Iran must be held fully accountable for these attacks under international law, the United Nations Charter, UN Security Council Resolution 2817, and UN Human Rights Council Resolution 61/1, in a manner that strengthens security, stability, peace, and sustainable development across the region and the world.
