Jordan: Air Defenses Intercepted, Shot Down 3 Ballistic Missiles Coming from Iran
Amman, July 15 (QNA) - The Jordanian Armed Forces announced that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down three ballistic missiles that entered Jordanian airspace from Iranian territory early Wednesday morning.
An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces -the Arab Army - said that the interception operation was carried out within the framework of established operational and defensive procedures to protect the nation's borders, airspace, and the security of its citizens. The source added that the operation resulted in no casualties or material damage.
The Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the debris that fell in several locations, following established technical and security procedures. The sites were secured, and necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of citizens and property. (QNA)
