Doha, July 01 (QNA) - Qatar Museums has announced an extensive program of exhibitions, workshops, family activities and summer camps across its museums and creative spaces throughout July, offering visitors opportunities to explore Qatar's cultural heritage and contemporary arts through hands-on experiences.

The program follows the organization's recently announced autumn and winter exhibition schedule and includes activities for children, young people and adults designed to encourage creativity, learning and cultural engagement.

The Museum of Islamic Art will host one of the busiest schedules, featuring workshops on Arabic calligraphy, Islamic geometry, storytelling, literature and family activities inspired by its collections. Highlights include a monthly story time session for children, beginner and intermediate calligraphy courses covering Naskh, Ruq'ah and Nasta'liq scripts, a family day exploring Islamic woodcraft, geometry workshops for teenagers, and creative sessions based on Islamic art.

The museum will also host screenings through its Library Film Club, beginning with El Baisano Jalil on July 26 alongside its monthly book club discussing The Blue Manuscript by Sabiha Al Khemir. Children's sustainability activities under the Planet Kids Club and an Arabic calligraphy art workshop will round off the month's program.

Meanwhile, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will stage its month-long "Beat the Heat Summer Camp 2026" from July 5 to 30, featuring four themed weeks of creative workshops, exhibition tours, sculpture, film-making, artificial intelligence-inspired art, family activities and dedicated sessions for participants with special needs.

The Archaeology Department at Qatar Museums will organize educational programs introducing young participants to Qatar's archaeological heritage, including The Museum is Ours: Discover Archaeology at the National Museum of Qatar and the Dig into the Past archaeology summer camp in partnership with QC+ Membership at Liwan.

The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will host its Adventure Camp in collaboration with the Qatar Paralympic Committee, offering inclusive sports-based activities for children with special needs.

At M7 – Qatar's epicenter for innovation and entrepreneurship in design, fashion and tech – children aged between eight and 15 will be able to design and build their own patchwork table lamps as part of a creative design workshop.

The National Museum of Qatar's Mahara Program will offer practical workshops on traditional craftsmanship, including the making of the Sunduq Al-Mubayat, a traditional Qatari travel chest, helping preserve local craft techniques for future generations.

Meanwhile, Dadu Children's Museum of Qatar will launch the first edition of its Dadu Startup Club, an eight-week entrepreneurship program introducing children aged eight to 12 to business planning, branding, budgeting and product development through interactive learning.

Qatar Museums said the month-long program is designed to inspire imagination, encourage learning and strengthen visitors' connections with Qatar's rich cultural heritage while providing educational and recreational opportunities during the summer holidays. (QNA)
