Moscow Says Attempts to Blackmail Russia Unacceptable
Moscow, July 01 (QNA) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed Wednesday that attempts to blackmail Russia was utterly unacceptable. She pushed back against extortion, threats, and warnings directed at Russia.
Speaking at a press conference, Zakharova emphasized that Moscow is ready to negotiate with any party that has a constructive thrust and responsibly handles the mission of reaching a fair and enduring settlement.
Russia would deal with any party that puts forward suggestions that honor the reality on the ground, the outcomes of the previous rounds of negotiations, as well as those of the Russian-US talks held in Alaska, she underlined.
Zakharova reiterated that Russia has consistently underlined that reaching a lasting solution to the conflict should be based on thoroughly eliminating the root causes of the conflict. (QNA)
