Baghdad, July 01 (QNA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al Zaidi and Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi discussed on Wednesday a number of regional and international issues and topics of common interest, and exchanged views on them.
During the meeting, they explored ways to enhance and develop cooperation in a manner that serves common interests.
The Secretary General expressed the GCC's keenness to continue bolstering its relations with Iraq, pointing out that the two sides underlined the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and ongoing coordination to reach practical and comprehensive solutions to all outstanding matters and issues between them, in a way that serves common interests and enhances security, stability and prosperity in the region.
