Doha, June 08 (QNA) - The Penal and Correctional Institutions Department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of inmates from correctional and rehabilitation institutions who completed their studies and obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from the Community College of Qatar.

The graduation comes as part of the MOI's efforts to strengthen rehabilitation and reform programs and expand educational opportunities for inmates, contributing to their academic and professional qualifications and enhancing their chances of positive reintegration into society.

It also reflects the ongoing cooperation between the Penal and Correctional Institutions Department and the Community College of Qatar in supporting inmates' educational development.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies and state officials, in addition to the MOI officers and members of the Permanent Committee for Penal and Correctional Institutions. (QNA)
