LoginQatar Participates in International Sports Tourism Conference in Cyprus
Doha, June 07 (QNA) - The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, participated in the international conference "Sport Tourism as a Driver for Sustainable Development," hosted by Cyprus and attended by a distinguished group of officials, experts and specialists in the fields of sports and tourism from around the world.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth delegation was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Sports Affairs, Eng. Abdulrahman Abdullah Hassan Al Maliki.
During the conference, the delegation highlighted key experiences and best practices related to the development of the sports sector and the strengthening of its role in supporting sustainable development.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Qatari delegation held a productive meeting with officials from the Cyprus Sports Organization, during which the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and activate existing agreements. They also exchanged expertise and explored opportunities for knowledge transfer in areas of mutual interest in the sports sector. (QNA)
