Palestinian Martyred in Attack by Occupation Forces in Gaza
Gaza, June 30 (QNA) - A Palestinian citizen was martyred on Tuesday by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza City.
Local sources reported that ambulance crews recovered the body of the man who died after being shot by occupation forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
This comes as occupation forces conducted hostile operations in the Gaza Strip, including the bombardment of various areas, the demolition of homes and civilian facilities, and the targeting of residential neighborhoods, displacing dozens of families.
Eyewitnesses said that four large-scale demolition operations targeted homes and civilian facilities in the eastern and northeastern areas of Khan Yunis. Israeli military vehicles also opened fire on the eastern areas of the city, and occupation aircraft bombed the northwestern areas of Rafah.
In Gaza City, Israeli forces detonated a booby-trapped robot loaded with a large quantity of explosives, targeting several homes in the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of the city. This coincided with heavy gunfire from military vehicles and sporadic explosions in the Shuja'iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods.
Eight Palestinians, including a mother and her child, were killed last night in several airstrikes and shelling operations carried out by the occupation forces on homes and tents of displaced people in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip by launching further assassinations, artillery shelling, airstrikes, and heavy gunfire across the Strip. (QNA)
