Kuwaiti Interior Ministry Confirms One Fatality in Iranian Attack
Kuwait City, June 03 (QNA) - One passenger died, while operators and other passengers were injured, along with gross material damage to parts of Kuwait International Airport after it came under attack by several UAVs, the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry said.
During a press briefing on the current incidents in the wake of the Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Director-General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media and spokesman for Kuwait's Interior Ministry, Brig. Gen. Nasser Abu Sulaib, said that Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport had come under a criminal attack by several hostile drones earlier on Wednesday.
This dangerous attack resulted in the death of one passenger and the wounding of operators and passengers, along with inflicting gross damage to parts of the airport's facilities and operational structure, he added.
He noted that the relentless targeting of residential areas and civilian sites, alongside critical infrastructure in the Iranian aggression, underscores a belligerent approach that intends to destabilize security and endanger human lives and property. (QNA)
