Israeli Forces Carry out Incursion into Southern Syria's Western Daraa Province
Damascus, June 28 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces have advanced in the Yarmouk Basin area of the western Daraa province in southern Syria.
Local sources have reported that an Israeli force comprising a number of military vehicles moved towards the villages of Maariya and Abidin, all the way to the Tal Al Maghar area and opened fire towards the surrounding agricultural lands.
They added that the Israeli forces set up tents in the vicinity of Tal Al Maghar and a new checkpoint on the road connecting the villages of Saisoun and Jamla, while simultaneously carrying out excavation work in the area.
Israeli forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and carrying out raids, whilst Syria continues to reiterate its call on the international community to put an end to these violations and ensure Israel's full withdrawal from Syrian territory.
