Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Saudi Foreign Minister

Manama, June 25 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met in Manama on Thursday with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, on the margin of the joint meeting of the GCC foreign ministers, with the United States of America.

Discussion during the meeting focused on bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's full support for the ongoing negotiations between US and Iran to reach sustainable solutions to outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, thereby strengthening regional security and contributing to opening new horizons for cooperation, development, and prosperity, and achieving the common interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
