Two Killed in Israeli Strike on Vehicle in Southern Lebanon
Beirut, June 24 (QNA) - Lebanese authorities said Wednesday that two people were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency reported that the strike hit a car on the Tallet Al Dabsha road near the outskirts of Kfar Dounine, killing two people.
It added that Israeli troops also fired on a vehicle in Al Dair neighborhood of Nabatieh Al Fawqa, and another near a Lebanese army barracks area, without causing injuries.
Israeli artillery also shelled outskirts of Yater in the Bint Jbeil district, the report said.
In a related development, the Lebanese army has been dismantling unexploded ordnance left from Israeli strikes in several southern towns, including Deir Mimas, Marjayoun, Baraashit, Bint Jbeil, and Nabatieh. (QNA)
