Doha, June 24 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 28th meeting of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Justice in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.

The Qatari delegation to the meeting was headed by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.

The meeting discussed several topics related to strengthening joint judicial, legal, and legislative cooperation among the GCC Ministries of Justice; an initiative to establish an electronic platform for exchanging notices and judicial assistance; and the draft unified rules for combating cybercrime in the GCC countries.

The meeting also reviewed the recommendations of the GCC Committee of Directors and Heads of Legal and Judicial Training Centers and Institutes and adopted appropriate decisions regarding them. (QNA)
