Toronto, June 24 (QNA) - Croatia secured three valuable points in a 1-0 victory over Panama, reviving its hopes of qualifying for the round of 32 at the FIFA 2026 World Cup, in a match that was held in Toronto Stadium in the second round of Group L games.

Croatia's Ante Budimir scored the only goal of the match in the 54th minute.

Croatia are now third place in Group L, behind England and Ghana, who have four points each. Panama ranks last with zero points.

Croatia will play Ghana in the third and final round next Saturday in Philadelphia and Panama will face England on the same day in New Jersey. (QNA)
