FIFA 2026 World Cup: Colombia Beats DRC 1-0, Qualifies for Round of 32

Guadalajara (Mexico), June 24 (QNA) - Colombia qualified for the round of 32 of the FIFA 2026 World Cup after defeating the Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 during the second round of Group K matches.

With 6 points, Colombia will top Group K, while the Democratic Republic of Congo remains in third place.

Colombia dominated the match and nearly scored early, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

The team went on to score the only goal of the match in the 76th minute through the efforts of Daniel Munoz.

Following the conclusion of the second round, Colombia leads with 6 points, followed by Portugal with 4 points, then the Democratic Republic of Congo with one point, while Uzbekistan remains at the bottom without any points. (QNA)
