Rabat, June 24 (QNA) - Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has outlined its vision for the future of postal services amid the rapid shift towards e-commerce during the Third Arab Postal Leaders Forum in Rabat, Morocco.
The two-day forum, held under the theme "Transforming Postal Supply Chains and Digital Trade Networks for an E-Commerce-Driven Future", brought together senior postal and logistics leaders and experts from across the region and beyond.
Qatar Post stressed the importance of developing modern, digital-driven operating models and redesigning supply chains to meet the demands of the digital economy.
During the forum's opening session, CEO of Qatar Post Hassan Jasim Al Sayed delivered a presentation on reinventing postal networks for the e-commerce economy. He highlighted the need for postal networks to evolve into integrated logistics ecosystems focused on parcel delivery and digital trade services, supported by digital transformation, automation and upgraded operational infrastructure.
Qatar Post said its participation reflects its ongoing commitment to developing the postal and logistics sector, strengthening regional and international cooperation, and supporting the growth of a modern digital ecosystem capable of keeping pace with the rapidly evolving e-commerce industry.
