Doha, June 22 (QNA) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs held Monday a workshop on job description and classification guide for the diplomatic and consular corps.
The workshop, organized by the ministry's Human Resources Department, was attended by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, alongside Their Excellencies department directors, assistant directors and heads of the State of Qatar's diplomatic missions abroad.
Addressing the event, HE Director of the Human Resources Department, Abdulaziz bin Abdul Qader Mohammed Al Ahmad, outlined the principal provisions of the guide and an overview of its contents.
He further went over the regulations governing the assignment of foreign service personnel and locally employed staffers at diplomatic missions, the performance evaluation procedures, and the promotion eligibility requirements and timelines. (QNA)
