Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets France's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs
Burgenstock Resort (Switzerland), June 22 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Noel Barrot at the Burgenstock Resort in Switzerland.
During the meeting, the two sides took stock of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to advance it.
They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored that the State of Qatar thoroughly backs the ongoing US-Iran negotiations to reach enduring solutions to the outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means.
He said such efforts would help deepen regional security, elevate cooperation, development, and prosperity to new heights, and accomplish the shared interests of the peoples of the region and the world. (QNA)
