Doha, June 18 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Thursday, gaining 24.72 points, or 0.23%, to reach 10,600 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by five sectors.
Market data showed gains in the Transportation sector by (+0.68%), Industrials (+0.47%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.35%), Real Estate (+0.18%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.09%). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for the Telecoms sector by (-0.59%), and Insurance by (-0.65%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 99.906 million, with 30.482 million shares traded in 3,433 transactions. (QNA)
