Doha, June 16 (QNA) - Qatar-based logistics provider Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) has announced the establishment of new subsidiaries in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, alongside the rebranding of one of its existing companies, as part of efforts to strengthen its regional presence and expand its logistics services portfolio.

In a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Tuesday, the company said the moves align with its long-term strategy to diversify business activities, enhance operational capabilities and broaden its logistics offering across key markets in the region.

GWC said it does not expect the developments to have any material impact on the group's financial statements.

The company confirmed the incorporation of GWC Biosafe for Hazardous Transportation WLL in Qatar and GWC Express Trading LLC in the United Arab Emirates. It also announced that Prime Inspection Services has been renamed GWC Busulba Logistics Services LLC in Qatar.

As part of its expansion into specialized logistics services, the group has additionally established GWC Energy Logistics LLC – Sharjah Branch 1 in the UAE.

The latest developments reflect GWC's continued focus on growing its regional logistics network and strengthening its position in sectors requiring specialized transport and supply chain solutions. (QNA)
