Gaza, June 16 (QNA) - The number of Palestinians killed since the flare-up of the Israeli armed aggression against the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,008, with the number of those wounded climbing to 173,260.
Gaza healthcare authorities reported on Tuesday that they had received 5 dead bodies and 8 injured persons over the past 24 hours.
The total figure of casualties since the ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 11 has soared to 997 fatalities and 3,152 injuries, with 784 bodies being dug out, the authorities said.
It added that several victims are still languishing under bombed-out structures and on the streets amid the inability of paramedics and rescuers to reach them. (QNA)
