Gaza Government Media Office: Israeli Occupation Forces Violated Ceasefire 3,269 Times
Gaza, June 15 (QNA) - The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed 3,269 violations of the ceasefire agreement during the 245 days since its entry into effect.
In a statement, the office explained that Israeli violations during this period resulted in the deaths of 992 Palestinians and left 3,138 others injured due to ongoing attacks.
The statement also noted that 95 Palestinians were detained during the ceasefire period as part of continuing security operations.
On the humanitarian front, the office revealed severe restrictions on the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip. Only 52,740 trucks out of the 147,000 scheduled to enter have been allowed through to date, representing a compliance rate of just 36 percent.
The office emphasized that these figures reflect sustained restrictions on the flow of aid despite a growing and critical need on the ground.
Furthermore, the statement noted that the occupation permitted only 6,845 individuals out of an expected 19,600 to leave the Gaza Strip through Rafah land crossing, representing a 35 percent compliance rate and severely restricting the ability of medical patients and humanitarian cases to travel abroad for treatment or evacuation.
