Damascus, June 14 (QNA) - Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani met on Sunday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi during his visit to Syria to discuss the evolving regional situation and de-escalation efforts.
The two ministers underscored that it is essential to halt all repeated Israeli interventions and assaults on Syrian territories.
Both sides further stressed the importance of ramping up diplomatic efforts and dialogue to address crises and reach a radical solution based on foundations that ensure enduring security and stability, and respecting international law and the ethos of good neighborliness.
In addition, they agreed to proceed with joint action and build on the achieved breakthrough made in various cooperation paths, as well as maintain coordination and consultation on regional and global issues of shared concern. (QNA)
