Islamabad, June 12 (QNA) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and his Swiss counterpart, Ignazio Cassis discussed the latest developments in the Middle East in a phone call today.
During the call, the two ministers welcomed the progress toward reaching an understanding between the United States and Iran.
The Swiss Foreign Minister praised Pakistan's role and the diplomatic efforts exerted by Islamabad to move forward toward lasting stability and peace in the region.
In a related development, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that Mohammad Ishaq Dar will travel to Geneva tonight to finalize the US-Iran agreement, which President Donald Trump said he expects to sign either at the end of this week or next Monday. (QNA)
