Tokyo, June 11 (QNA) - Japanese stocks closed mixed on Thursday.

The Nikkei 225 index ended 0.06% higher at 64,217.27.

The broader Topix index fell 0.45% to close at 3,830.35.

AI-related stocks, which had earlier dragged the Nikkei lower, recovered some of their losses.

SoftBank Group, the technology investment conglomerate, saw its shares decline 1.4% after plunging as much as 7.5% earlier in the session.

Fujikura shares fell 1.2%, after dropping as much as 7.3% earlier in the day, while Advantest, a maker of semiconductor testing equipment, slipped 0.2%. (QNA)
