Egyptian Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments with Pakistani Counterpart, Lebanese Prime Minister
Cairo, June 11 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments in two separate phone calls with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
During the calls, emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to contain the current escalation in the region, the necessity of resuming negotiations between the United States and Iran to reduce tensions and end the conflict, the ongoing arrangements for Cairo to host the fourth meeting of the Quartet Mechanism comprising Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
Discussion during the calls also addressed the latest developments regarding the Israeli military escalation in Lebanon. (QNA)
