Gaza, June 01 (QNA) - The number of Palestinians killed since the flare-up of the Israeli armed aggression against the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,941, with the number of those wounded climbing to 172,967.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Monday that it had received two dead bodies and 40 injured persons over the past 24 hours.

The total figure of casualties since the ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 11 has soared to 932 fatalities and 2,859 injuries, with 781 bodies being dug out, the Ministry said.

It added that several victims are still languishing under bombed-out structures and on the streets amid the inability of paramedics and rescuers to reach them. (QNA)
