LoginQFA Chief Praises Organization and Quality of Amir Cup Final
Doha, May 09 (QNA) - HE Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain has praised the technical quality and organization of the 54th edition of the Amir Cup final.
Speaking after Al Gharafa SC defeated Al Sadd SC 4-1 to win the title for the ninth time in the club's history, Al Buenain expressed appreciation to all government, sporting, security and media bodies involved in organizing the event.
He also commended the efforts made to provide what he described as a distinguished experience for supporters attending the final at Khalifa International Stadium, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the stadium's establishment.
Al Buenain said the final had been delivered in an exceptional manner and congratulated Al Gharafa on securing the trophy. He also praised all clubs that won football titles during the 2025–2026 season, describing the campaign as successful on all levels and highlighting the strong technical performances displayed throughout the year.
The QFA president additionally praised local media organizations for their role in supporting Qatari football and covering competitions and events across the season. (QNA)
