Riyadh, May 09 (QNA) - The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) affirmed on Saturday the full support of its member states for all measures taken by Bahrain to maintain its security and stability.
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi commended the significant efforts undertaken by Bahrain's security services, which led to the uncovering of an organization linked to Iran.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Al Budaiwi said that full support is extended to all measures taken by Bahrain to preserve its security and stability, safeguard its sovereignty, and confront any party attempting to undermine its security or threaten the safety of its citizens and residents.
He added that the member states will remain united in confronting terrorism, while continuing to strengthen the collective security system and consolidate security and stability across the GCC countries. (QNA)
