Beirut, May 07 (QNA) - Israeli occupation warplanes launched two new airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Thursday, killing two people and wounding others.

Local sources said an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the town of Ain Baal in southern Lebanon, killing one person and wounding others, while another person was killed in a separate strike on the city of Nabatieh.

This adds to previously released casualties count of 2,715 killed and 8,353 wounded since March 2, amid an escalation of occupation strikes on Lebanese cities and towns. The Israeli occupation also targeted Beirut, in its first strike on the Lebanese capital in nearly a month, while violations of the ceasefire continue daily in southern Lebanon. (QNA)
