3 Killed, Others Injured as Plane Crashes into Building in Brazil
Brasilia, May 05 (QNA) – Brazilian authorities announced that a small plane crashed into a building in southeastern Brazil last night, killing three people and seriously injuring two others.
Authorities added that the accident occurred in the city of Belo Horizonte. The pilot and co-pilot were killed, while the three passengers were taken to hospital, where one of them later died overnight, according to emergency services.
Emergency services said all those killed and injured were on board the aircraft, and no one inside the building was injured, although it sustained serious structural cracks.
According to statistics from the Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention Center, 153 aviation accidents were recorded in Brazil in 2025, resulting in 62 deaths. (QNA)
