UAE Intercepts 15 Missiles, 4 Drones Amid Escalation

Abu Dhabi, May 04 (QNA) - The UAE Ministry of Defense said its air defense systems intercepted 12 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and four drones launched from Iran, resulting in three moderate injuries.

In a statement, the ministry said that since the beginning of the Iranian attacks on the UAE, air defenses have intercepted a total of 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 drones.

It added that the UAE Armed Forces remain on full alert and fully prepared to respond to any threats, stressing they will confront any attempt to undermine the country’s security with force, in a way that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, stability, and national interests. (QNA)
