Gaza, May 30 (QNA) - The total number of victims due to the Israeli occupation's onslaught on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has soared to 72,938 fatalities and 172,919 injuries.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported Saturday that during the past 24 hours, seven bodies were brought to hospitals in the enclave, including six newly killed victims and one person who died from previous injuries. Additionally, 25 injured people were admitted.

The total number of fatalities since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11 has risen to 929, along with 2,811 injuries, with 781 bodies being dug out, the sources added.

The sources further explained that several victims still languish under the rubble and on the streets, with paramedics and rescuers being incapable of reach them. (QNA)
