Abu Dhabi, May 02 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a written message on Saturday from President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
The written message, concerning bilateral relations, was delivered to Emirati Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his meeting with Singaporean Minister of Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan.
The serious repercussions of the blatant Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and a number of countries were discussed during the meeting, particularly their impact on international maritime security, energy supplies, the world economy, in addition to regional and international peace and security.
The Singaporean Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's solidarity with the UAE in taking all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its people.
Both sides also discussed regional developments pertaining to the United States-Iran ceasefire and the importance of boosting regional and international efforts to establish lasting peace in the Middle East and safeguarding its security and stability. (QNA)
