Nine Killed, Dozens Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, May 28 (QNA) - Nine people were killed and 37 others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
The ministry's emergency operations center stated in a statement today that an Israeli airstrike yesterday on Al-Bass in the Tyre district, killed three people and wounded 37 others, including eight children and 13 women.
In a separate statement, the center added that another airstrike on a car in Adloun in the Sidon district, killed six people, including two children and their parents.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese army reported that one of its soldiers was killed in an Israeli airstrike while traveling on the Zifta-Deir Zahrani road.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,269, with 9,840 injured, according to the latest official statistics. (QNA)
