Egyptian, Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments
Cairo, May 26 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, discussed regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region as well as strengthening bilateral relations, in a phone call.
In a statement today, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the two ministers exchanged views and assessments regarding the progress of negotiations between the United States and Iran. They emphasized the paramount importance of supporting the negotiation process and resorting to diplomatic solutions and dialogue as the only way to reduce tensions and end the conflict.
The two ministers also expressed hope that all parties would adopt wise and responsible positions and rely on diplomacy to resolve their differences. (QNA)
