Qatari Pilgrims Begin Arriving in Holy Sites for Hajj
Makkah, May 22 (QNA) - The first groups of Qatari pilgrims have begun arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, with initial flights landing on Thursday amid coordinated arrangements between Qatari authorities, the Hajj mission, and Saudi officials.
Flights departed from Hamad International Airport on Qatar Airways and Saudia, carrying pilgrims from 18 approved campaigns, with arrivals continuing through Jeddah's airports until full completion on Sunday, 7 Dhu Al Hijjah.
The Qatari Hajj Affairs Department said preparations included early coordination, streamlined airport procedures, and pre-arranged baggage handling services.
The Qatari Hajj mission teams are stationed at Saudi airports around the clock to facilitate arrivals, ensure smooth transport to accommodation in Makkah, and manage luggage delivery directly to hotels. (QNA)
