Amiri Guard Celebrates Graduation of Basic Training Courses

Doha, May 21 (QNA) - The Amiri Guard School celebrated on Thursday at Lahsaniya Camp the graduation of a number of basic training courses, marking the conclusion of the first phase of the 2026 training season, in the presence of HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, and HE Amiri Guard Commander Major General Staff Mohammed bin Sultan Al Suwaidi.

The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Commander of the Amiri Guard, the Deputy Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), the Inspector General of the Amiri Guard, Assistant Commanders of the Amiri Guard, and a number of senior officers from the Qatari Armed Forces, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), and the Amiri Guard.

The ceremony included the graduation of two joint foundational security and VIP protection courses, two foundational self-defense courses, a rapid intervention course, and a tactical first aid course for close protection personnel.

In a speech delivered on the occasion, Acting Commander of the Amiri Guard School Captain Mohammed Khalfan Al Mansouri presented the most prominent and advanced training and qualification programs included in the courses, which aimed to refine the skills and capabilities of participants and enhance performance and readiness levels.

The graduates performed a final demonstration showcasing the core skills acquired during the training period.

The display featured a number of scenarios simulating methods of dealing with threats and sources of danger through specialized exercises related to VIP security and protection, as well as self-defense skills reflecting the combat readiness of the course participants, alongside rapid intervention and tactical first aid drills for close protection operations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai honored the top graduates. (QNA)
