Beirut, May 16 (QNA) - The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2,969, with 9,112 others wounded.

Lebanon's Health Ministry Emergency Operations Center said in a statement on Saturday that the cumulative toll covered the period from March 2 through today.

Israeli forces continue to carry out attacks in southern Lebanon, in violation of the cease-fire that began on April 16 for an initial period of 10 days before being extended for an additional three weeks starting on April 23. (QNA)
