Qatar Philharmonic to Stage Opera Evening at Katara

Doha, May 14 (QNA) - Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra announced it will present an opera concert on Saturday at the Katara Opera House.

The concert will be led by Lebanese conductor Toufic Maatouk and feature renowned French soprano Fabienne Conrad, alongside the Qatar Concert Choir and the full Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.

The program includes celebrated opera works by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Rossini, and Dvorak, featuring famous arias such as "Casta Diva" from Norma, "Sempre Libera" from La Traviata, and "Vissi d'Arte" from Tosca.

The evening will also include the iconic "Anvil Chorus" from Verdi's Il Trovatore, promising a rich and dramatic musical experience.

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra continues to play a leading role in Qatar's cultural scene through world-class performances blending Western classical traditions with global artistic influences. (QNA)
