Doha, May 14 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Thursday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand, currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, in addition to the regional developments, including efforts related to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran and broader de-escalation initiatives aimed at enhancing regional stability.

The two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic dialogue between the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. (QNA)
