Doha, May 14 (QNA) - Qatar Museums will mark International Museum Day on May 18 with a series of cultural and interactive events across its museums and institutions.

This year's celebrations coincide with the theme "Museums Uniting a Divided World" and the 50th anniversary of the National Museum of Qatar.

Activities will take place at the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, and the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, featuring workshops, guided tours, storytelling sessions, films, and educational programs for all age groups.

Qatar Museums CEO Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi said museums play a vital role in inspiring learning, creativity, and social connection.

All Qatar Museums venues will offer free admission during the celebrations. (QNA)
