Qatar Claim Bowling Triples Gold at 4th GCC Games

Doha, May 14 (QNA) - Qatar won the gold medal in the bowling triples event at the 4th GCC Games Doha 2026 on Thursday, continuing the hosts' strong performances in the competition.
The Qatari trio of Talal Al Marri, Bader Al Sada and Jassim Al Muraikhi secured first place with a total of 3,785 points across six games.
Saudi Arabia took the silver medal with 3,655 points, while Kuwait claimed bronze after finishing with 3,633 points.
Qatar bowling coach Khalifa Ali Al Kaabi praised his players' determination and composure, saying the victory reflected the team's preparation and the rapid development of bowling in Qatar.
The bowling competition continues on Friday with the start of the team event, before concluding on Sunday in Doha. (QNA)
