8 Killed, 11 Injured in Russian Airstrikes on Dnipropetrovsk Region
Kyiv, May 13 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced on Wednesday that eight people were killed and 11 others were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
According to Ukrinform, Russian forces carried out nearly 30 airstrikes on the region, killing eight people and injuring 11 others, in addition to damage to several residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.
Ukrinform also reported earlier that Russian forces carried out more than 50 artillery strikes and several drone attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring five people.
Since February 2022, the Russia-Ukraine war has witnessed a stalemate in reaching a comprehensive political settlement, alongside continued military operations and exchanges of attacks between the two sides, amid intermittent diplomatic efforts led by several international parties to halt the fighting.
