Doha, May 13 (QNA) - The heads of the working groups of the Economy, Trade and Industry Committee stemming from the Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council held their fourth meeting on Wednesday via videoconference.

The meeting was chaired on the Qatari side by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki. On the Saudi side, it was chaired by HE Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning in Saudi Arabia, Rakan Tarabzoni, with several officials from both sides in attendance.

They discussed items on the agenda, including mechanisms to enhance trade exchange and facilitate import and export operations.

They also reviewed developments related to joint initiatives, the main challenges and obstacles and ways to address them, as well as the committee's next steps and the recommendations required in that regard. (QNA)
