QNL Showcases Interactive Experiences at 35th Doha International Book Fair
Doha, May 12 (QNA) - Qatar National Library (QNL) will take part in the 35th Doha International Book Fair with an interactive booth designed to offer visitors an engaging experience combining technology, storytelling and cultural heritage.
The fair will be held from May 14 to 23, 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
This year, the library will introduce its "Library4You" campaign, an extension of its existing "QNL4ALL" identity, aimed at highlighting how its services, programs, spaces and experiences are tailored to meet the needs of a diverse public.
The booth will feature a range of interactive and technology-driven activities, including an AI-powered experience called "Literary Twin", which analyzes participants' reading preferences and storytelling styles before matching them with an author whose literary voice aligns with their personality. The experience concludes with an introduction to the library's "Book Match" service.
Visitors will also be able to take part in a "Free Knowledge Shopping Spree", a digital interactive activity allowing users to explore library services and build a personalized selection of resources while learning about free membership benefits.
For younger audiences, the "Dream Big: The Hero is You" activity will allow children to create personalized stories featuring their own names and photos, as part of the library's "Ready for School" initiative.
Alongside these experiences, the booth will highlight aspects of Qatar and Arab cultural heritage, including a "Did You Know" history wall and a feature on the journeys of the Arab explorer Ibn Battuta. It will also showcase the library's Aerial Photography Collection, which contains high-resolution images captured during 55 flights between 1944 and 1983.
The exhibition will further present the library's wider offerings, including multilingual resources, heritage archives, children's programs, learning initiatives, and dedicated facilities for people with special needs, such as a sensory room.
The library's mascot, Ramlly, will also make scheduled appearances throughout the event to add a family-friendly element.
QNL said it is inviting visitors to explore its booth, register for free membership, and download its mobile app for updates during the book fair. (QNA)
