Doha, May 12 (QNA) - The Qatari Forum for Authors announced its participation in the 35th edition of the Doha International Book Fair 2026, running from May 14 to 23, with a broad program of cultural and intellectual activities featuring writers, researchers, and academics from Qatar and abroad.

The forum said, in a statement, its program includes the launch of more than 100 new publications by Qatari and resident authors across various fields of knowledge, alongside over 25 intellectual seminars, 15 specialized lectures, and around 12 panel discussions addressing key cultural and societal issues.

Director of Culture and Arts and Director-General of the forum Abdulrahman Al Dulaimi said the program is designed to be diverse and comprehensive, addressing contemporary cultural and digital transformations while fostering serious dialogue on current intellectual challenges in Qatar and the region.

He added that the forum aims to expand partnerships with cultural, educational, legal, and media institutions, positioning its cultural salon as a platform for sustainable collaboration, knowledge exchange, and showcasing new literary production, while emphasizing strong support for authors as a cornerstone of a sustainable cultural movement.
